Product features

We use only home-grown hojicha leaves from a field near Aso.
The flavor of tea varies depending on field where it is grown, so natural soft aroma of Aso foothills and direct heat roasting gives it a deep flavor.
The taste of tea sticks differs depending on temperature and time of roasting and raw ingredients in blue, red, and black.
Black hojicha is made by roasting the first picking tea at a high temperature of 200 degrees Celsius, which gives it a deeper and richer flavor than infrared light finish.
Only the first picking tea leaves are used and roasted at high temperature and direct heat. 100% of our tea leaves are used.

Instructions/advice on how to use and to eat.

When steeped in hot water at a temperature of 90-95 degrees Celsius for about 2 to 3 minutes, you can enjoy the richness like coffee.
The fragrant aroma is unique to Japanese tea and can be used for flavoring food and other purposes.
It is also ideal for rehydration during exercise, relaxation time during the day and night, and before bedtime,
