Bio farm Organic Japanese Tea Cultivation,
Kagoshima Prefecture

In the south of Kyushu, in Minamikyushu City, Kagoshima Prefecture, a tea field spreads over a beautiful place surrounded by nature-rich mountains. This land, which has been selected and whose water has been selected as one of Japan’s 100 exquisite waters, is surrounded by mountains, and has a large temperature difference during the day, providing a suitable environment for tea cultivation. Since we started here operations as bio farm in 1998, we have always farmed organically, and now we grow various agricultural products such as sweet potatoes, ginger, herbs and blueberries, focusing on tea. Most of the tea produced here is also exported to Europe after passing rigorous inspection by a German testing institution.
